Today was the birthday of my grandfather (80 years) as mentioned in the post as a faithful recipient of my culinary experiments! (In the photo with her granddaughters my dear cousin Camilla and myself)
Obviously we celebrated by going out to lunch together in a little place in Chianti, Chiocchio! The place is called "La Locanda del Gallo" c 'I had been once, I had discovered this spot my friend Aly.
To begin the owner who then also acts as a waiter gentlissimo, the service is impeccable, beginning to enjoy a mulled wine led us to the essence of cinnamon and homemade bread, good (the ingredients there was know how to figure, but a true connoisseur of these was the curry, the color you want x x the unmistakable flavor as I could not admit it!).
I regret not having photos of the dishes, I swear they deserved but I was so intent on savoring the delicacies to the camera that not even I thought, I hope that my words will make a little illustration with the idea.
As the first signed ate ricotta gnocchi with zucchini flowers and truffle cream, do not tell you the delicacy of flavor, good good good, as the second cut to the nose (do not know if he understood the nose but I like just a while) a delight, then we in the flesh Tuscany we have it really good, nice kitchen with blood, with truffles, a delicacy, just as a side x to be a little light grilled zucchini and half of spinach pie with mom! We get to dessert, every time I promise not to eat but then I fall into temptation, how can I resist the blackberry tart, I'm going crazy, it was home-made blackberry jam instead of in pieces, and over the creme anglaise (uncle how do you cream English is ....?) it is accompanied by good wine (according to others, I'm sober!)
Once finished lunch we headed in the direction of Greve in Chianti where we were to visit the wine museum that even for non-drinker me was really interesting, they can taste the wine with meats and cheeses and even oil.
Here are some photos to give a better idea ...
Well Sunday was definitely a beautiful family!
